Was looking up the stats and learned an interesting fact, 20 Super Bowl games were won by blowouts of 17 pts or more. The NFC has won 30 Super Bowls and AFC has won 29 Super Bowls, so it’s mostly even between the conferences in terms of talent.

Considering we only have 59 Super Bowls, it means almost 1/3rd of all Super Bowls were blowouts.

Does anyone know why blowouts are so common?
