Nothing confirmed but John Rothstein reported both schools to the MAAC with official announcements coming soon. NEC does not allow for football only member but may have to in order to stay afloat. The league is now at 7 total members and 5 football-playing members.
There have been rumors around New Haven making the jump for years and they may pull the trigger now that the NEC needs to backfill (again)
