At work today, we were talking about universities and I said that I went to “A&M”.

I call texas tech “tech”. I feel like the “Texas” is redundant. However for the school in San Marcos, I always call them “Texas State”, never just “state”

I call the longhorns “ut”. I think “texas” is super weird to say

I call Houston “UH”. As a Houstonian, I think calling them Houston is weird
