From a severely jaded TV watcher, the first 2 episodes of "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" have been the most purely enjoyable tv watching I have had in many many years.

After being severely disappointed with many shows I actually was excited for (I’m looking at you “Wheel of Time”) I took a chance on the new show “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” and was hooked almost immediatley!

Without giving any spoilers, I was charmed by the relatability of the main character almost instantly, and his situation/drive/call to action was a perfect start to a show.

After watching all the Game of Thrones and still not being able to remember all the names of all the many many characters and plotlines, having just 1 to follow is perfect change of pace.

And since this seems to be self contained, its ok to pick up without having watched any of the other shows or read the books!

I had to make a post because I seriously had just about given up on tv shows in general (nothing has caught my interest other than Fallout as I have played all the games and love finding the many easter eggs they placed and excellent set design) I feel like the first 2 episodes are better than many movies Ive seen recently!

I know the series will probably start some serious drama and intrigue as it IS based on GRR Martin’s writings, the first 2 episodes are pure joy to watch and enjoy and root for Egg and Dunk!
