Original Title: Another year, another lost opportunity for either Tom Coughlin, Mike Holmgren, Chuck Knox, Dan Reeves, Marty Schottenheimer, George Seifert or Mike Shanahan to get inducted, thanks to the current (and undesirable) Hall of Fame induction rules.

Only one coaching finalist was selected and after hearing yesterday’s news, we know how that all turned out.

Another reason why Hall of Fame voting rules need to be reformed immediately! There should be two or three finalists selected every year, with one guaranteed.

If I had a vote, I would vote in Schottenheimer. Yes, we can argue about his blunders, bloopers, and fuck-ups in the playoffs, but to be in the rare company of 200 wins is still impressive.

Hope the voting committee can eventually change so at least some of these coaches can finally get into Canton…
