I was watching Rookie Blue, and I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen a heat wave used as a plot device to set up drama. It was really interesting, and it did allow for good writing for the main character who I was iffy on before.

Personally, I’m very sensitive to hot weather. Combine that with anger issues, west coast Summers can get pretty bad, so I really felt the frustration during the episode. I was wondering how many shows have also used a citywide heat wave to set up good drama.
