Not about discussing what is being accused, as there are ample threads for that discussion.
College A vs College B.
Let us assume I know the signals of my opponent, and know what play they are going to run. How do I actually use this and make it effective during a game?
I can understand being able to call out run vs pass, and that would absolutely help.
But take it further - I know that it is going to be a jet sweep to the weak side. How do I convey this information in to my team? There are about 20 secs, depending on team and tempo, between play call and snap. In that 20 secs, I have to tell me team what is coming.
I assume there is huge advantage by setting up the formation beforehand. Again, assumptions here, this would mean DC would know what play ia being called and can line up his team accordingly with what he thinks would be the best formation to stop the upcoming play. Huge advantage, but is there more to it?
Would like some more dialogue on how this would actually work during a game. Again, about 20 secs or so to get get the defensive play in, adjust, and set for snap
Edit: my question is on more on how would implement the adjustments in 20 secs. .
