Entertainment vs the game? Should they be separate attributes that don’t mesh?
Or do both contribute to what makes the college game special, and unique to the professional league?
I know we (myself included) like to point fingers at HBCU GameDays for what Eddie is talking about. That the spectator entertainment and the game are not being viewed as part of the whole pie.
Have you seen these things play out in the other institutions in D1 (FBS & FCS)? Or D2 and below?
