Have you ever realized way too late that two characters were played by the same actor, even though it was painfully obvious? It’s almost two o’clock in the morning; I don’t know if this will get any attention.

I was rewatching Dodgeball and never questioned if I recognized Me’Shell from anything… until now. I went through Jamal Duff’s IMDb and - low and behold - he plays Terry’s brother in law, Zeke, in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I’ve seen Dodgeball countless of times. I’ve seen B99 countless times. I know he’s not on the show a ton, but how the hell did I not put that together sooner? And the worst part, this man sticks out like a sore thumb! He’s HUGE! There’s a gag in the show that he makes TERRY CREWS look small. And his voice is as deep as the ocean. You can’t confuse this guy with anyone. And their characters aren’t that different from each other. Zeke may be a bit more douchey since he tries to undermine Terry but still. I feel so dumb. Anyway please tell me you guys have had a similar experience so I feel a little better about myself.
