Hey everyone,

I’ve always loved the flexibility of Google Sheets, but hated the UI for managing relationships and pipelines. Conversely, I liked the UI of polished SaaS CRMs but hated the vendor lock-in and monthly fees for features I didn’t use.

So I am building Sheety: A stateless, open-source CRM that treats your Google Sheet as the single source of truth.

The Core Concept: The app is just a specialised interface layer. It doesn’t store your data on my servers. It connects via OAuth, reads your sheet, renders a Kanban board/Contact list, and writes back to the sheet. If you stop using the app, you still have your data in a clean spreadsheet.

Features:

  • Pipeline Kanban board
  • Global Search (Cmd+K)
  • Activity logging (calls, emails)
  • 100% Free & Self-hostable

I’d love to get your feedback on the architecture or the code.
