It’s 2026 and I really needed some sapphic stories so I stupidly decided to watch this show. I realized how many shows with lesbians Netflix made and ended up cancelling. There are barely any lesbian movies in this world and all I hear about is Heated Rivalry and God knows what other mlm content. I’m so tired.
I just came here to say how I literally survived an awful and long shift because I was looking forward to finish watching this show. Needless to say, it’s been amazing and I didn’t even know it existed until very recently. That’s really upsetting, but not too upsetting to notice how bad the acting is and how fake the acting looks. So, in a way, I am relieved with how much I kind of hate how the lesbians kiss, like where is the chemistry?? Why are they not using tongue?? Why did Olivia from She’s the Man looked at Viola more lesbianly in a Y2K homophobic era than these lesbians in this show??? And why are we not making more lesbian shows??? Do I have to rewatch Bottoms and She’s the Cheerleader and other lesbian films to keep myself happy??
This was a critique for modern tv. The world needs more lesbians.
