Odunze suffered a foot injury in the Bears’ 24-15 win over the Eagles on Black Friday. He was made active for Chicago’s contest against the Cleveland Browns on Dec. 14, but suffered a setback during warmups and remained sidelined for the remainder of the regular season.
On Saturday night, Odunze recorded two receptions for 44 yards, hauling in a miracle throw on fourth down in the fourth quarter that allowed the Bears to eventually come back and defeat Green Bay 31-27.
Per Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times, Odunze is battling a stress fracture in his foot and said it was “tough” to manage the pain in Chicago’s win in the wild-card round.
“There was soreness, but at this part of the season, it’s all hands on deck and play through it,” Odunze said. “I’ll ride it ‘til the wheels fall off.”
