There are so many outlets that give us football all year and then suddenly we are down to just one. Feels like it gives them more sway on whatever national narrative is going on at the time. Also, it definitely feeds the ESPN bows down to the SEC altar. I think spreading it out and including Fox and CBS (not including NBC as they only cover one team really) would lend more credibility. When I was a kid, ESPN was beloved with characters like Berman, Vitale, Stuart Scott or Dan Patrick. Now we get Pat Macafee and other clowns who kinda bring the product down. I’d like to see other voices at the big boy table.
