Decent amount of people gave the broncos a lot of crap for trading for Sean Payton citing him as overrated and a waste of draft picks. Broncos currently sit at the #1 seed in the AFC tied with the best record in the NFL meanwhile 23 (and counting) other head coaches have been fired elsewhere in the league since he was hired.

Regardless of how you feel about Sean Payton, he’s certainly an upgrade from Hackett and the Broncos have faired better than the majority of NFL teams since the trade. Wonder if this will lead to an increase in trading for NFL HC’s, as the position seems more volatile than ever.
