His buyout is legendary and he basically owes his contract & legacy to Winston IMO. Regardless of my opinion, how much longer do you think A&M keeps him around?
Everyone talks about oil money, etc but we’re talking between Jimbo buyout and bringing in a new coach, $125-150 mil minimum. This is no small chunk of change, no matter what the internet thinjs.
I have to think unless he loses out and then has another shitty year next year (think 7-5 or worse), he’s around for another three or four years. Curious your guys thoughts!
