The Athletic has learned that Madrid and Lyon reached an agreement for a loan without an option to buy, with each club paying half of Endrick’s salary. The French side could pay up to €1million (£900,000; $1.2m) for Endrick but, for every five games he starts, Lyon will have to pay €200,000 less.
