If you didn’t enjoy the finale, I can understand that. I personally did, but that’s me.

What I don’t understand is the Byler subreddit (where people were hoping that Mike, who loved Eleven the entire show, would end up with Will) and their need to accuse the Duffer Bros of queerbaiting them over a relationship they made up in their heads.

I enjoy talking about film and television, and love discussing what did and didn’t work in a show. But to make up a narrative in your mind and then get upset that it wasn’t fulfilled (after the show’s told you that it was never a thing) to the point that you are harassing the creators of it online is just very strange to me.

EDIT: To the people telling me that it’s self contained in the subreddit… well it isn’t, and that’s why I brought it up. Every social media post and comment from one of the creatives that has worked on the show is full of comments about being betrayed and queerbaited, which is what led me to that subreddit in the first place.
