Like most, I thought the selections were crazy. Of course, I wanted my team in there, thought James Madison was a charity pick, said the ACC was trash, etc., etc.
But these games have been chaotic as fuck and repeatedly proved me wrong in the best ways:
- James Madison put 34 points on Oregon
- I thought Miami didn’t deserve to be there, and then they roll Ohio State after holding A&M to 3 points
- Oregon then shut out Texas Tech
- Indiana, who was 3-9 in 2023, is possibly the most elite team in the league and gave Alabama its worst beating since 1998
- Ole Miss upsets Georgia, despite Lane Kiffin’s feverish dedication to being the most hatable coach in football.
Everything is going up in flames, and I’m enjoying every single game.
EDIT: Some goofballs still trying to diminish JMU scoring more points on Oregon THAN ANY OTHER TEAM this season because gArBaGe TiMe. Can someone remind me which head coach recruited their QB? What ever happened to him? Is he doing anything interesting right now?
