Time and time again, character after character, show after show, anytime someone takes pills, even when they’re not addicts, they pop ‘em back with not a glass of water around.
I’m watching Nurse Jackie because my wife is watching it, and even as a nurse, she doesn’t pop her pills with something to drink.
I remember watching House and he too never chased his pills down with a beverage. He kinda just cocked his head a bit.
Granted, they both play addicts. And I get the reason why they do it they way, for effect. But you’d think since they go out of their way for authenticity, a glass or hand full of water would be top of the list.
