Other than being the main actor and producer of Last Samurai Standing, Okada Junichi is also the action planner of the show. Starting as a Johnny’s idol in the industry, he later fell in love with martial arts, and earned the instructor license of Kali, Jeet Kune Do and USA Shooto, also a BJJ black belt, and learnt ancient Kenjutsu (not the modern Kendo). He will teach Stranger Things cast about Tate (sword choreography) in this video.
Edit: Netflix Japan youtube channel does a lot of after talks, watch parties or related contents for their local shows, like The Final Draft, Kiss or Die, and their flagship show Last Samurai Standing, such as introducing the weapons used in the show, or sending one of the cast to eat insects because of the Kodoku game in the show. It’s quite fun.
