If you’ve watched The Tower with Gemma Whelen and Emmett J Scanlan, I have a question for you (spoilers ahead if you haven’t).

At the end of season 2, Lizzie tells Sarah that she will always rush in despite procedure if someone’s life is on the line.

Then, at the end of season 3, her rushing up to Steve’s flat is what pushes Ryan over the edge after they’d calmed him downand he shoots Kieran. To me it seems like Lizzie’s statement in the s2 finale was foreshadowing and her tendency to disregard protocol is what gets Kieran (her son’s father) killed.

It’s not a popular enough series to have a lot written about it, but would love to know what you think if you’ve seen it…was this a deliberate part of the story, a deliberate connection back to Lizzie’s actions throughout the series, but especially in s2?
