The absolute worst TV discourse at the moment that is dominating social media seems to be about Heated Rivalry, essentially a show about gay hockey players.
You would think the show was made for gay men, but gay men seem to be the biggest critics of it. The most rabid defenders of the show, and its biggest audience, is straight women.
Somehow this has created a scenario where gay men are being harassed and shouted down for sharing opinions on a show about gay men, while straight women are attacking any gay man who shares an opinion about it.
