A couple years ago Matt Brown created a really cool little game for being an AD of a CFB program and sold it. He’s made updates through the years but now it looks like ESPN has just launched their own copy of his game. It’s insane how similar they are and they’re just going to steal his ideas with no credit. They even put his game title in their URL to make sure they get that SEO traffic. Go play Matt’s game instead!

Brown’s Game: extrapointsmb.com/…/athletic-director-simulator-4…

ESPN’s Game: espn.com/…/nil-boosters-budgets-athletic-director…

edit:

Folks are saying I’m baiting because they called it “athletic director simulator” and that’s too generic. If you put that in Google and filter for before today, only Matt’s game comes up. It’s not some generic term that’s widely used or something.

Other’s are saying it’s not much of a “game” so it doesn’t matter. It’s literally the exact same type of informative game as Matt’s. Literally his explicit primary target is students to help them learn more about the way that AD’s jobs have changed, “We wanted to make a fun way to help students understand the key issues in college sports…and how there usually isn’t a “right” answer that works every time.” GTFO with your ESPN defending for no reason.
