Ive read online that twin peaks is meant to be good and it’s got like 8,7 on IMDB. So I’ve now watched the first episode and my first impressions are on balance negative. I’m wondering if it worth to keep watching and if it gets better. Obviously these are my opinions and you might disagree with them
The positives
- charming scenography
- Good soundtrack
- starts right off without long winded back story
- I like the mystery genre, so this should be up my alley
The negatives
- poor, theatrical, over the top acting
- strange and non-effective editing
- Off putting dialogue that feels totally fake and pulls me away from the story
Is this show’s main attraction nostalgia? Or will it get better?
