With re-watch podcasts from cast members of tv shows all the rage nowadays, what are some of the best and worst that you’ve (attempted to) listen to?
I just started Teri Hatchers, Desperate Housewives rewatch podcast and I’m enjoying it. Despite 2/3 of the hosts being Susan Meyer and Julie Meyer, and the third being Teri’s daughter, they havent made it into a ‘Susan Meyer’ heavy rewatch podcast. They cover all the major stories. Are very open. Manage to stay on topic for majority of the podcast. Call out the problematic aspects of the show and the great things about the show. When they bring on former cast members, they get their aspect on the show.
Compare that to the Charmed rewatch podcast…I wanted to love it but its been a hot mess majority of its run thus far. They have trouble staying on topic, covering all aspects of the show, and it’s more of a conversation between 3 friends who just hit record and remember towards the end what they’re supposed to be talking about.
I’ve tried Charisma Carpenters, Buffy rewatch podcast but not having a co-host is hard.
