Original Title: With Sam Houston’s unthinkable 367 yards of offense last night (nearly impossible for a team to get that many, right?), IOWA is now in LAST place among FBS in Yards Per Game with 249.2. IOWA is also LAST place in first downs with 13 and in completion percentage with 45.9%.
(Edit: 13 first downs per game, not 13 for the season. We’re not that bad.)
- On YPG, next lowest FBS team is Eastern Michigan with 259.0 YPG. Next lowest P5 team is Utah with 297.6. (Iowa was also 2nd to last in 2022.)
- On first downs, next lowest FBS team is Sam Houston with 14.5. Next lowest P5 team is Iowa State with 15.7. (Iowa was also 2nd to last in 2022.)
- On completion percentage, next lowest FBS/P5 team is Pittsburgh with 49.6%.
