The Writers Guild of America asked the New York Attorney General to seriously consider investigating CBS for their decision to cancel Late Show with Stephen Colbert just a couple days after it was announced. They argued that it was an attack on free speech and likely even politically motivated considering CBS paid off the Trump administration for a 60 Minutes interview early this year.
Five months have already passed and no updates appear to have been made. What happened?
