The SEC just released the 2026 Conference Schedule and UGA will, again, not play at Kyle Field despite the SEC moving to a 9-game conference schedule.
For context: Georgia has has NEVER played at Kyle Field. Texas A&M joined the SEC 13 years ago on July 1st, 2012. That was 4,912 days ago today. Since A&M joined the SEC, we have played the Aggies only once (in Athens in 2019).
Is there another instance in the country where a team hasn’t played @ a conference opponents stadium in 14 years?
In that same 13-year time period, here is UGAs history against non-rival SEC teams (excluding Auburn because UGA plays them every year) from the old SEC West:
| Old SEC West Team | Total Games | Regular Season Games | Away Games |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alabama | 11 | 4 | 2 |
| Arkansas | 3 | 3 | 2 |
| LSU | 4 | 2 | 1 |
| Miss St. | 5 | 5 | 2 |
| Ole Miss | 5 | 5 | 2 |
| Texas A&M | 1 | 1 | 0 |
