May be an unpopular opinion, but I really appreciate a procedural drama with a complete story in a single episode. Something I can just throw on when I have time, without having to worry about what came before or what will follow too much. Bonus points for not focusing on the core characters too much, like focus on solving the murder rather than distracting me with whatever personal issue that character has going on.
I’m sure this is why Law & Order and NCIS continue to be successful, even though they sometimes focus on the characters a bit too much.
Any other recommendations, you kind folks believe I should check out?
