I watched Breaking Bad, and Mike seemed like a very cool and chill guy. He was a supporting character in the show, and we didn’t know much about him. However, Better Call Saul made him the main character and one of the two main protagonists in the show. We don’t see him as much as Saul, but Mike’s story remains the center of attention, and we see that the cold and calm guy is just a facade of Mike during his work hours. In reality, he is just an ordinary person like any of us. He’s friendly, affable, smiling, and sociable when it’s not about work. BCS gave him an emotional character, and it worked. Jonathan Banks did an amazing job as Mike Ehrmantraut, one of the best protagonists in television history.
