This isn’t new or anything and I watched it 2 years ago, but I want to revisit how ambitious this was.
This is the 2023 Netflix show Bodies, about a time traveling corpse that lands in front of cops in different eras.
It’s a random streaming TV show with FOUR period pieces. There’s an entire separate cast and setting for: 1890, 1941, 2023, and 2053.
1890 has London constables in bowler hats suppressing labour riots and queer people
1941 has WWII bombings
2023 has war on terror and protests
2053 has science fiction shit
It’s a Crime Mystery Science Fiction across 160 years. The story is far from perfect but I wish they tried more stuff like this.
