I’m not going to pretend to know the ins and outs of coaching or scheming, nor will I pretend Trevor Lawrence is absolutely amazing, but I’m genuinely curious if this points to some sort of flaw in the offensive play-calling. Perhaps they’re calling packages or tempo that he’s more comfortable with when the Jaguars are tied or trailing, but not when the Jaguars have the lead? Liam Coen has done amazing work so I’m in no way saying he’s a bad coach, but I do have to wonder what part of this is coaching and what part is mental on Trevor’s side.
