I was on a flight and picked something from my library to watch and chose Vicious. Vicious is a very short lived UK sitcom starring Ian McKellan and Derek Jacobi as long suffering couple. I’ve seen this show many times but it had been awhile. Seeing it now all in one binge, you can see how terrible the writing was and how trite and cliche the storytelling was. Doesn’t matter though because the entire cast is stellar and completely carries the show. Any other examples like that?
