Both teams feel like 2nd or 3rd tier rivals to other teams. Penn state can be a top dog in the big 10 but theyre not a top primary rival to any team in the big 10.
Same with LSU. On any given year they have the potential to be godly and filled with top level talent but theyre not anyone’s major rival in the SEC. I used to think it was Arkansas as a kid but it just doesn’t seem like one. Kinda just feels like they got told to dislike each other because everyone else already had a rival.
