When I saw the anesthesia scene in Episode 4, it immediately felt like a setup for deeper consciousness themes.
This is exactly the kind of phenomenon discussed in Orch-OR, where anesthetics collapse quantum processes in microtubules and “switch off” consciousness instantly.
Not saying it’s confirmed, but the scene definitely made me think the series might explore quantum-style consciousness collapse later on. It fits the tone of the show perfectly.
