I have this vague memory of a TV show (or maybe TV movie) that was released in the 80s to early 90s and was set in the near future, like 1999 or 2000. I feel like it was more of a family drama with sci-fi elements than a purely sci-fi show. I have this memory of it being mentioned along with the wonder years (baby boomers in the past) and thirtysomething (boomers in the present). and this show was about boomers in the future.
