As Mario Cristobal has just committed one of, if not THE single most legendary coaching blunder in the history of the sport, I must concede that many of you warned me of this sort of thing from Cristobal. Maybe not THIS egregious, but I was definitely warned that Cristobal was a solid recruiter but terrible coach, but I tuned y’all out.
Cristobal pumped life into a dead program at my alma mater, FIU, so I had a soft spot. It was an unshakeable benefit of the doubt I suppose, but man, wow. WOW. Never in my life could I have imagined a blunder this epic. I’m impressed, in a way. Godspeed, Ducks peeps. Sorry I doubted ya 💀✊🏼
