Welcome to week 10 of the 2025 r/NFL power rankings, the most biased-unbiased source for power rankings on the web. For the second straight week the Rams reign supreme, with a 2 point win at home after intercepting Sam Darnold four times. Not even Clark Kent-Campbell could do enough against the Eagles, who are ranked #1 by six rankers this week. The Colts and Patriots are the only other teams with 1st place ranks (2 each). Buffalo and Denver each move up slightly after tough wins, while the Chiefs slip back to their lowest ranking since week 5. The dust is finally settling after 11 weeks, with no team shifting more than three spots. Do the Packers deserve to move up after an unconvincing win against the Giants? Without Penix for the season have the Falcons fallen far enough? Can JJ McCarthy keep the Vikings in the top 20? Discuss! 31/32 Reporting

1. Rams 8-2 The Rams continue to find new ways to win after playing one of their worse offensive games of the year. They managed only 22 minutes of possession and were outgained by 165 yds, Puka had his first career fumble and Adams was invisible all day, and two of their TD drives were 25 yds or less and they only had two drives of more than five plays. Winning took some improbable events, including one of the greatest punts of all time and four interceptions from the NFL’s least-paid defense. Neither team played particularly well in this ugly game, but game one (of three?) goes to LA—let’s see who plays better next time. For now, the Rams take sole possession of the NFC West while also owning a top-10 pick in the draft (thx ATL, please keep losing).
2. Eagles +2 8-2 There’s only so many ways to write, “a win’s a win! Ugly game but jeez the Eagles just find a way to get the job done!” So, for the week’s power rankings blurb, let’s power rank the Eagles’ themselves, from biggest strengths to biggest weaknesses. At the top of the list, we’ll put Howie Roseman. Last week’s blurb mentioned how incredible the Nick Sirianni Eagles have been at winning games, but if we think about the current iteration of the team as the Howie era and extend to 2016, the team has only missed the playoffs twice, and won two Super Bowls in that span. Howie is relentless is trying to put this team in the best possible position to be competitive, as evidenced by his aggressive trade for Jaelan Phillips. He is the team’s biggest long-term advantage. At number two, Vic Fangio. Last year’s #1 defense is beginning to emerge after allowing 16 total points to two top-5 offenses in EPA. And watching the games, it’s not just one unit dominating: every position group across the field is making plays. But, this will take us to number 3: linebacker. It’s unfathomable for Eagles fans to think this being a strength after so many years of stopgap LB solutions, but Baun and Dean (and the rookie Campbell) are all over the field making plays. At number 4: the defensive line. At the beginning of the season, this was the biggest question mark, but with the aforementioned Phillips addition and Carter and Davis turning it into a higher gear the past couple weeks, the pass rush and run stuffing has been electric. At number 5, and this will be controversial, it has to be the pass catching unit. Have they underperformed this season? Has there been drama? Did last week look bad? Yes on all counts. But, this is still a unit with Devonta Smith, AJ Brown, Dallas Goedert, Jahan Dotson, and Saquon Barkley. When Hurts steps back to pass, he is throwing to players with an overwhelming amount of talent. Number 6: Nick Sirianni. Ok, another controversial one given some boneheaded decisions down the stretch the last couple weeks, but the Eagles are consistently grading well with key game decisions, the players like him, and the team has an even better winning percentage coming out of bye weeks. Number 7: Defensive backfield. This would be much higher on the list if not for the mess at CB2, but Blankenship, Mitchell, and DeJean are all great players. Mukuba is inconsistent, but playing very well for a rookie safety. A big reason for the team’s success is how well they have defended the pass. Number 8: Jalen Hurts. At risk of this wall of text becoming even more massive than it already is, Jalen Hurts in 2025 can be described as follows: inconsistent, yet a fighter. He is obsessed with winning, putting his body on the line in 3rd down runs when no one is schemed open. The reigning Super Bowl MVP has played well at times, but the last two weeks have shown rough-around-the-edges game tape. Number 9: The O-line. For pretty much every season since maybe…2012(? Longer?) the Eagles’ biggest strength has been their offensive line. And it’s still a strength, they have a top half unit. But injuries have taken their toll and it’s clear they are not playing at 100%. Which has made Barkley’s job a lot harder. Speaking of: number 10: RB. The reigning OPOY is running behind an underperforming line, but he has also looked a little less decisive in recent weeks. There’s time to turn it around, and he’s still dangerous in space, but this is not 2024 Barkley. Okay, we’ve ranked the HC, all position groups (somewhat arbitrarily grouped), DC, GM. Now, we come to the last one on the list, the only real weakness on the team: Kevin Patullo. The play-calling has been horrendous, the route trees look like route weeds (got ‘em), the offense is just this uninspiring mess with 10 pro bowl-caliber players. Yes, the team is 8-2, but the offense needs to start playing like the top 5 unit its capable of being if the Eagles are going to have a shot of winning in January. Next up: Dallas.
3. Colts 8-2 The Colts got their much-needed bye this week and will head to Arrowhead with a (hopefully) full-strength secondary as Mooney Ward aims to return from his second concussion of the season. The Chiefs are desperate for a win, and Indy needs to prove it can win in one of the toughest environments in the AFC. Fun fact you’re going to hear 100 times this week: The Colts are 2-0 in the regular season against Patrick Mahomes.
4. Patriots +1 9-2 I’m not sure what the players or coaches on the Patriots did in their past lives to earn this kind of schedule karma. Did Mike Vrabel spend 2024 rescuing kittens from tall trees? Does Drake Maye spend every evening at his local soup kitchen feeding the poor? Is Josh McDaniels moonlighting on the side as a masked vigilante, stealing from the rich owners that employed him as a head coach and redistributing that wealth to the poor needy Pats? Was it really that painful for the fans to have to watch 5 seasons of Cam Newton, Mac Jones, and Bailey Zappe? I guess we’ll never know for sure, but this entire season seems as if it was crafted specifically to help New England as much as possible. Much has been made of the Pats cakewalk of a schedule, but after handily disposing of the hapless Jetes on Thursday night, the Patriots were rewarded by a well-earned Jamar Chase suspension, making their matchup with the floundering Bengals on Sunday even easier. There are two difficult games approaching on the horizon, and the loss of Milton Williams for at least 4 weeks is a massive blow, but its legitimately looking like a 13-4 finish might be the floor for this team, and the 1st seed + the bye week seems like a realistic goal.
5. Seahawks -3 7-3 "[Sam] is our quarterback, we got his back, and… you got anything to say, quite frankly, f*ck you."
6. Bills +1 7-3 MVP Josh Allen has shown up! In a battle of premier QB’s Josh Allen outdueled Baker Mayfield accounting for a career high 6 touchdowns 3 on the air and 3 on the ground. If this version of Josh Allen shows up weekly he may find himself hoisting the Lombardi in February. The problem is that having to consistently rely on a herculean effort from your QB to make up for defensive flaws isn’t very sustainable. However if anyone can make up for a mediocre defense it’s the 2025 MVP. Next up is a quick turnaround against the Texans where hopefully the supporting cast (looking at James Cook after 2 quiet games) can take a bit of the load of Josh Allen.
7. Broncos +2 9-2 Oh, Broncos Country. Oh hoho, Broncos. Bo my goodness gracious, people. What a time for the Broncos to put together a complete game, and what I wouldn’t give to have been in attendance for that game at Mile High. As the big man said, ““if you’re scared, go to church”” and specifically the Church of Bo, because our Nix and Savior has smiled upon us, giving the gift of this glorious win over the boogeyman after their bye and before ours. And you should be scared, too. The Broncos hold the keys to the Kingdom now, both the Chiefs’ one and the NFL’s (at least until the Patriots obliterate the Bengals this week). Get your ass to church or Blucifer will find you, red eyes aglow, hoofs in stomping position, veiny…you get the idea. Let’s talk for a second about what we saw out there. Two solid drives to start the game that settled for FGs. NBD, big improvement from having nothing going on in the first quarter almost all season. Still some …
