Happy Saturday friends. Title censored ‘cause I don’t want to give the mods any reason to remove this.
Last Sunday, I was watching Sunday ticket, flipping through the games. I flipped to the audio of the halftime show of the Bengals-Titans game briefly. When I did, I heard Michael Strahan talking about Joe Burrow (being sacked, I believe). He said following: [Joe Burrow here “taking a big shit—taking a big shot”. I then changed audio of the Sunday ticket tuner immediately afterwards, realized what I had heard Strahan say, and tried to go back, only to see the FOX halftime crew laughing as they went to commercial — the laughter then confirming that I had heard correctly and Strahan had slipped on TV. Unfortunately, I could not rewind the broadcast, so I couldn’t save it.
After it happened, I expected there to be some clips on YouTube of it or mention of it here or elsewhere; while I saw some individual comments in the Bengals and Titan subreddits’ game threads, I have still not found a clip of this otherwise, even though I’ve checked a few times. It might be buried on Twitter somewhere, but I don’t use that platform so IDK.
I think the fact that it occurred during the halftime show of a non-competitive game not everyone would have watched probably has made it hard to find. I even asked in the postgame thread, but no one had it — so maybe asking the whole subreddit would work?
So, I humbly ask, does anyone have a clip of Strahan’s blooper from Sunday? Please share! I cannot for the life of me find the clip and it’s mind-boggling. Everyone should be able to get a laugh out of it, it was funny, and frankly, based on how Joe played on Sunday, it wasn’t even inaccurate. Many thanks!
