One thing that’s very common with shows that are going on for too long or are at the end of their run, especially if they have few episodes in their seasons is that they tend to overcompensate for this fact along with their huge range of characters by having more subplots and A LOT OF Runners.
Moral Orel is a big example, with a lot plot points jumping many lines amidst the other characters, as it was actively pulling away from the eponymous boy and most of its stories got scrapped due to an overwhelmingly negative test screening towards “Alone”.
I’d like to hear your arguments about which shows did it right or did it the worst.
