The dude has never disappointed me in anything I have ever seen. His range is exceptional even if you ignore Office Space because it’s a movie.
Just in television alone -
In The West Wing, he plays Bob Russel (Bingo Bob) as a competent but not awe inspiring politician. It’s a hard line to walk to get the tone exactly right where you are not offending anyone, not doing a job poorly, not an evil character but just plain average.
In Entourage, he plays Andrew Kline as an agent who flips between being incredible good at his job to a pathetic loser who literally loses complete control over his personal life and consequently his job
In Veep, he plays the complete perfection that is Kent Davison. Probably the funniest straight faced dead pan delivery in TV. He is a favorite character in a show where there are no non-favourite characters.
In Suits he plays an unethical self righteous lawyer.
In Desperate Housewives he plays a terrifying abusive cop
And I could go on and on…his talent is awesome and my love for him is immeasurable!
