Welcome to week 10 of the 2025 r/NFL power rankings, the most biased, unbiased source for power rankings on the web. For the fifth straight week a new king has been crowned. Welcome back to the top, Rams. The NFC West reigns supreme with division rival Seahawks adjacent in second place, and the 49ers alive in the upper echelon. The Patriots smart football proved too much for the Bucs late game heroics, and the Lions are back into the top five until another uncharacteristic loss kicks them back down. The Bills want off Mr. Bones’ wild ride with another 6-position slide that can only be defined as “week 10 whiplash.” They have moved from a 6.59, to 2.57, to 7.80 average in the last three weeks. Only the Ravens moved up more than 3 points. Is it the stigma or are the Bears still bad enough to get opposing coaches fired after wins? Are the Broncos still the best team in the AFC West? Discuss! 32/32 Reporting

1. Rams +1 7-2 Following their week 5 heartbreaking overtime defeat against San Francisco, Sean McVay promised that the loss would galvanize the team. Since then, the Rams are 4-0, outscoring their opponents by an average of 20pts. One of those games was without Puka Nacua, where the team started utilizing an astonishing amount of 13 personnel usage (including 40% this week), which has been wildly effective. Instead of spamming the ball to Puka and losing when that doesn’t work, the formation forces opposing defenses to be in base formation, which sets the Rams up to get Puka or Adams a 1-on-1 matchup, a lighter box to run the ball, or to go to one of their multiple tight ends who can all ball in their own unique way. And it’s not just scheme—MVP frontrunner Matt Stafford is on an absolute heater, throwing 20 TDs and 0 INTs over the last six games. While that week 5 loss can be considered avenged—and it’s certainly cathartic to get a rare regular season W over the Niners—next week vs. Seattle looms even larger, with home field advantage in the playoffs at stake.
2. Seahawks +3 7-2 Two straight absolute blowouts. The vibes are IMMACULATE in Seattle. Sam Darnold attempted 12 passes and the team scored 44 points. Demarcus Lawrence had TWO scoop and score touchdowns off of TWO Tyrice Knight strip sacks. The defense annihilated The Cardinals early to put this game away before the end of the first quarter. The Seahawks actually ran pretty well this game, too! Rookie Nick Emmanwori led the team in tackles and had a half sack to go with 4 passes defensed. The young guys are all stepping up big, including the aforementioned Tyrice Knight who started in place of the injured Ernest Jones. Not to mention Jaxon Smith Njigba had an entire game’s-worth of stats in a single quarter of football with over 80 yards and a touchdown in the first quarter. Speaking of JSN, he has already cleared 1,000 yards receiving on the season and is at 4.61 yards per route run, which is a historic number. To put this number into perspective; Puka Nacua is at 3.46 YPRR this season-- which is an insane number. Steve Smith had 3.87 YPRR in 2008. Tyreek in 2023 was at 3.82. 4.61… doesn’t happen. Up comes the greatest test of the year as Seattle flies down to Sofi to take on their boogeyman in the Rams. This has game of the year potential… until the next Rams Seahawks matchup, of course!
3. Colts +1 8-2 Jonathan. Taylor. 💥 In arguably the greatest individual performance at the Olympiastadion since Jesse Owens at the 1936 Olympics, JT ran 32 times for 244 yards and 3 touchdowns, and added 42 receiving yards on 3 catches. His 83-yard score on what first appeared to be a 3-yard gain swung momentum back to the Colts late in the 4th quarter. It’s the longest TD of his career, the longest TD run in the NFL this season and made him Indy’s new franchise leader in career rushing TDs (65). Then Taylor ran the ball down Atlanta’s throat in OT, including the walk-off score. Unglaublich! M-V-P!
4. Eagles -1 7-2 The Philadelphia Eagles have been around for almost 100 years. If you were to rank every era of the team, the Nick Sirianni iteration would be number one, and it’s not particularly close. Sirianni has the fifth-highest head coach WP% all-time. The Eagles have gone to two Super Bowls and won one. He’s led the team to playoff berths in all four years he’s been here, and it’s looking like that trend will continue in year 5 with the first repeat NFC East winner in over 20 years as the Eagles sit four games up on the division. Similar things could be said about Jalen Hurts, who is winning games he started in at an unbelievable rate. This team “just wins”. And they will likely be near the top of these power rankings because of that. Okay. Now. With all of that out of the way: this team (specifically this offense) is mind-bogglingly hot and cold. Yes, Green Bay has a young, talented defense and playing in Lambeau is difficult, but for this offense to put up 10 points in 60 minutes of football is absolutely wild. Based on offensive success rate, this was the worst regular season Eagles game of the Sirianni/Hurts era (h/t to Shiel Kapadia). BEFORE this game, the 2025 Eagles were going 3-and-out at a higher rate than any team since 2014 (h/t to denizselman33 on X). Can the Eagles repeat as Super Bowl champs? Absolutely; they’re still winning these games, and it’s revisionist history to say that last year’s squad didn’t struggle (think back to AJ Brown critiquing the “passing” game). But it feels like they’re playing uphill. Designs feel risky, playcalling is conservative, and the ball is not being distributed to their all-star cast effectively. It’s not all bad: the defense was outstanding and Phillips had more pressures this week (8) than any Eagle in a game all year. But for next week against the Lions, the offense will need to spring to life.
5. Patriots +3 8-2 Thank god we can FINALLY put to rest the narrative that the Patriots can only beat bad teams. Sure, their schedule has been easy (and it remains pretty easy for the rest of the year as well) but they’ve stepped up twice now to beat the two hardest teams on their schedule so far in Buffalo and Tampa Bay. It was an extremely gritty performance from Vrabel’s squad this week, with the defense stepping up massively to keep the lead while the offense floundered somewhat in the 2nd half. Maye didn’t have his cleanest outing, but that was more than made up for by the abundance of explosive plays that just haven’t been seen in the Patriots offense for what feels like a decade. A 70 yard slant taken to the house by Kyle Williams, a massive 3rd down bomb from Maye to Hollins, and TWO gigantic house calls from Treveyon Henderson, including the game winning touchdown where he had enough space between him and the defenders chasing to check with the sideline on whether or not he should score before he took it in for the points. This was just an all around impressive effort, and it has New England in a position no one expected coming into the season: actually contending for the afc 1st seed and a bye week in the playoffs. The first step towards securing that position comes on Thursday against the Jets, which should be a freebie, but hey Thursday nights get wild sometimes. Getting a win on the short week, and maybe showing off some more of this offenses explosive potential should leave New England in a prime position for their playoff push.
6. Lions +1 6-3 On the same day that the Trump administration demanded states rescind SNAP benefit payments that over 40 million Americans rely on in order to feed themselves and their families, the president and speaker of the house decided their best course of action was to attend and color commentate this football game. The same president who has authorized extrajudicial murders of sailors on numerous fishing boats while providing no evidence as to the alleged gang membership and drug trafficking that supposedly warranted these strikes. The same president who has overseen the funneling of billions of tax dollars to fund extrajudicial military operations on US soil to arrest and disappear undocumented migrants, documented migrants, and US citizens with no semblance of due process or adherence to Constitutional protections. The NFL welcomes and praises those who systematically and violently violate the rights of millions on US soil and abroad to color commentate their games. Amon-Ra St. Brown and Ben Sinnott perform the dance to appease the king; the National Guard is occupying DC as we speak and threats to expand to Detroit have already been made. Utterly pathetic.
7. Bills -6 6-3 The curse of being ranked first in the power rankings has taken another victim. Fresh off an impressive win over the Chiefs, there was a lot of optimism heading the Bills way and then they ran into the surprisingly dominant Dolphins. There was nothing good to be found in this game for the Bills. The offense struggled all day turning the ball over 3 times and the defense might’…
