What show(s) encapsulates your childhood or teenage years? AND/OR What have you seen since then that reminds you of (your own) growing up in retrospect?
And if you’re comfortable sharing, what is it about that show(s)?
I can only think of ones for my teenage years. The biggest is probably Gilmore Girls. I wasn’t a teenager when it was on air but started watching when I was one of the main characters age and really relate to certain parts of it especially the first 4 seasons. Rory’s bookishness, the family dynamics, and Lane trying to find herself outside of what others expect from her. Also Dawson’s Creek. Especially Joey’s storylines.
