For anyone under the age of 40, or not interested in random trophies, Old Ironsides was awarded to the team with the best head-to-head record between the 3 schools. (per an old Reddit post, this photo was pre-1953 as it still reads Penn State College). This is the first time the trophy has been up for grabs since 2000, when Pitt could have claimed it.
