This aired on Fox & I feel like it slipped under the radar. John Stamos stars as the grandfather, an LA restauranteur.

His character is a bit of a himbo that slides by on his charm & good looks. He also thinks he’s far brighter than he is. Don’t know Stamos too much from anything besides Full House.

He does good job here as an ultimately well-meaning buffoon. Josh Peck plays his surprise son & Paget Brewster is his ex. His son is fairly sheltered momma’s boy & nerd.

On paper, this might not seem like the most inventive or appealing concept. It’s a pretty charming comedy though. Creator Daniel Chun also wrote on The Simpsons, The Office , Trophy Wife & Happy Endings.

In typical Fox fashion the aired the episodes out of order. Unfortunately at the moment it’s not included with any streaming service. Maybe give a few episodes a shot & see if it clicks with you?
