Hey everyone, an interesting stat I found.

When looking up UCLA’s only national title (1954) I had the realization that they averaged more points per game (40.8) than than total allowed points (40). I figured this would be pretty rare post WWII so I looked for a more recent version and the latest I could find was the 1961 Alabama team that averaged 28.7 pts and allowed a total of 22 pts.

I don’t know for sure if this is the most recent, I looked at some usual suspects when it comes to dominance and the latest was the 1961 team.

Just an interesting fact I noticed, do with it what you will.

EDIT: A lot of people ignoring the whole POST WW2 thing.
