One of the things that bothered me about the Capitol riot shooting in which Ashli Babbitt who was unarmed was shot in the face and killed was how it ties into gun control debates.
For decades people on the left have been very adamant about how they don’t believe in using deadly physical force to protect property. Look at any discussion on burglary or trespassing.
“You didn’t have to shoot him bro”
“Is your PlayStation worth more than his life? Just let him take your stuff and go”
Look at how triggered they get over the rooftop Koreans? Or the couple last year who pulled out their guns to defend their property? They’re generally against this lol.
But all that changed with January 6th. Now it’s ok to shoot an unarmed person for trespassing. What happened to “people over property”? Apparently it’s ok to shoot someone if you are the police(it’s funny how this works) and defending state property and the person is right wing.
These are the same people who marched all summer against police brutality and violence against unarmed people. The worst part is if they destroyed your business and you tried to use guns to defend your private property they would want your ass arrested
