Florida - I was pulled over the other night and the officer asked if I had any weapons in the car so I told him No (which is true), but that I did have some ammunition / magazines in the back seat from shooting at the range the other day. He then proceeded to tell me to roll down my back window so he can peak in and look. So, I asked him why he needed to look back there? His response was "for my safety" with a cold dead stare into my soul. I then proceeded to roll down my window and he put his head half way into my vehicle and looked around without interfering with any of my items. So my question is as follows: Do I have the right to not roll down my rear window? and what constitutes a search of a vehicle? My cooperation had very little to do with willingly letting him look into my car, and was mainly done because I felt I was being intimidated.
Edit: The department that pulled me over was FWC which is the game warden here in FL
