Every episode focuses on the victims, which is something I’ve never seen in a show like this. They’re all named after victims of Gacy. We see him be scary, but we never actually see him kill. He’s never shown to be a sympathetic person.
I’ve watched a lot of true crime pieces in my life, but this is the one that got that balance right.
