Hear me out.
Every episode of Yellowstone is basically American Horror Story in a cowboy hat. You’ve got the same level of chaos, trauma bonding, family curses, murder plots, and completely unhinged characters — but instead of haunted mansions and covens, it’s ranch hands and barbed wire.
Both shows are about power, territory, and melodrama dialed to 100. The difference is that AHS serves camp and couture, while Yellowstone serves whiskey and wounded masculinity. Beth Dutton is just Madison Montgomery if she’d grown up branding people instead of burning them with telekinesis.
It’s prestige soap opera disguised as grit. It’s Ryan Murphy’s nightmare and Taylor Sheridan’s dream.
